Approximately 500 volunteers participated in the annual Mayor's Spring Clean-up event hosted by the City of Ocala over the weekend. The event aimed to keep the city clean and beautiful in honor of Earth Day. Volunteers, along with the Ocala Public Works Department, picked up litter throughout the city limits. The event was successful, thanks to the efforts of all participants. Mayor Ben Marciano and Dwayne Drake, Sanitation Division Head, were among those featured in the event.
