**In Memory of Chief Greg Graham: A Legacy of Service**

Ocala, FL – Chief Greg Graham of the Ocala Police Department is remembered for his extensive service and leadership, which spanned more than 30 years. He began his career as a patrol officer in 1983, advancing to the role of deputy chief. From 2008 to 2011, he served as Police Chief in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, before returning to Ocala in 2012 as the Chief of Police.

During his tenure, Chief Graham was instrumental in various community initiatives, including the launch of a drug amnesty program in 2018 aimed at aiding individuals struggling with addiction. He was actively involved with multiple nonprofit boards and community impact programs.

Chief Graham's personal interests included barefoot skiing, scuba diving, skydiving, and flying. He was recognized as a devoted husband, father, mentor, and friend. Tragically, he lost his life in an airplane crash on October 25, 2020.

He was known for his five guiding principles for the Ocala Police Department:

1. Do the right thing

2. Ask for forgiveness instead of permission

3. Find a way to say “Yes”

4. Treat everyone with respect

5. Have fun

In his honor, the Chief Greg Graham Legacy Foundation was established to support nonprofits that were significant to him. For further information about the foundation, visit GregGrahamFoundation.org. Chief Greg Graham's legacy of service and dedication continues to inspire the community.
