**Bernalillo County Adds Ben Harrison's 'Inanna' Painting to Public Art Collection**
ALBUQUERQUE, NM – The Bernalillo County Public Art Program has officially added "Inanna," a painting by local artist Ben Harrison, to its permanent public art collection.
Previously showcased at the Attleboro Art Museum in Massachusetts during a 2021 exhibit featuring rising Albuquerque artists, "Inanna" now resides at its new and permanent location at BernCo @ Alvarado Square.
Ben Harrison is a respected figure in Albuquerque's art community. Known for his mural work, paintings, and live figure drawing sessions, Harrison brings a distinct energy and technique to his craft. Speaking about his artistic philosophy, Harrison shared, "Drawing from life is often the muse, but as far as the goal goes, it is more about capturing the 'feel' than the 'real.' I like to create art with my bare hands, with whatever tools are available… imperfect, human-made art!"
Harrison's addition to the county's public art collection is a celebration of his contributions to Albuquerque's creative landscape, solidifying his place among the city's talented artists.
