CHIP Indianapolis Expands Handbook of Help Distribution
CHIP Indianapolis announced its ongoing effort to distribute the Handbook of Help, a pocket-sized guide designed to connect vulnerable residents with critical services. Each year, 20,000 copies of the Handbook are printed and distributed across Marion County and surrounding areas. The guides are available at resource centers, shelters, libraries, hospitals, private businesses, churches, nonprofit lobbies, and other community locations.
The Handbook of Help includes information to direct residents to essential services and support systems. CHIP Indianapolis is seeking sponsorship to increase the number of printed copies, provide translation services, and expand the guide’s reach. Community members and organizations interested in supporting the project can find more details and sign up to help at www.chipindy.org/HoH.
