Hundreds Unite for Massive Waterway Cleanup

Hundreds of volunteers are set to participate in the largest waterway cleanup in the history of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful this Earth Month. The event will cover over five miles of Pleasant Run with three scheduled volunteer days and ten cleanup sites across the city.

The initiative focuses on restoring natural spaces, removing debris, and protecting local waterways. The cleanup is supported by the City of Indianapolis and various local departments and organizations, including Keys2Work Staffing, Indy Parks and Recreation, IMPD News, RecycleForce, Indianapolis Department of Public Works, the City of Indianapolis Department of Business and Neighborhood Services, and the Marion County Public Health Department.
