Spring events planned in Aurora for March–May
Aurora, Colo. — Spring is almost here. The city of Aurora has released a list of family-friendly events and activities taking place in March, April and May.
Events include:
- Classic, family-friendly movies for $5 and opportunities to meet some of your favorite characters.
- A friendly jigsaw puzzle competition.
- A celebration of the "Prehistoric Aurora" exhibit.
- Lifeguard hiring events.
- The city of Aurora’s 135th Birthday Party.
Residents are encouraged to get involved and invite neighbors to participate. Details and other events are listed at AuroraGov.org/LocalActivities.

Final Four Legacy funds new basketball court at Christian Park.
INDIANAPOLIS — The Final Four Legacy project funded a new basketball court facility at Christian Park Family Center and a $6.8 million expansion of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, as city officials celebrate renovations meant to inspire Hoosier athletes and honor civil rights legacies ahead of the NCAA Final Four weekend.

Aurora City Hall Outlines April Events
Aurora, Colo., City Hall released a calendar of April events, including Fox Flix Film Series: “Brave” on April 4, a Community Tipi Build on April 5, Stewardship Saturdays for Families on April 18, a Spring Bird Walk in Aurora Open Spaces on April 19, the Sprint Triathlon on April 25, and the opening celebration for “A Mosaic of Cultures: Aurora’s Filipino Community” on April 25.

Artisans Festival Production Night Set for April 10

Children under 12 invited to craft birds at Festival
The Arts Council Oklahoma City invites children 12 and under to create a 2D multimedia scissortail flycatcher at the Festival of the Arts’ Children’s Art Field, inspired by 2026 featured artist Greg Erway, with 10–15 minute sessions and families encouraged to share their creations on social media during the festival, April 23–26, 2026, with support from St. Anthony SSM Health.

The Community Justice Campus in Indianapolis will be closed Friday, April 3, 2026, for Good Friday by order of a circuit court judge, while the Juvenile Detention Center, Initial Hearing Court and RSR will remain open and Marion County Courts will also be closed that day.
