Oklahoma City's Festival of the Arts is described by Mayor David Holt and Meg Salyer as something bigger than any one person.

Meg Salyer, a former City Councilwoman and Fest-Officio, has seen firsthand how the festival brings people together. For her, it comes down to one word: “community.” She said the festival is an open, inclusive tradition that reflects the very best of who we are.

Mayor Holt calls the festival “the quintessential Oklahoma City event”—a place where the entire city gathers, just as it has for decades.

For 60 years, the festival has been more than art, food, and music. It’s been a shared experience that defines Oklahoma City.

The festival is scheduled for April 23–26.
