**Marion County Public Schools to Host Magnet & Community Resource Expo**

Marion County Public Schools (MCPS) will hold its Magnet & Community Resource Expo on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the World Equestrian Center, located at 8232 NW 17th Place in Ocala, specifically in Expo Center 2.

The expo is designed for students and families to learn about the educational opportunities offered in Marion County. Community resource partners will also be present to provide support and answer questions regarding various needs.

The School Choice application window will open on November 14, 2024, and close on January 31, 2025. Options for Elementary and Middle School will be based on a lottery system, while High School opportunities will include both merit-based and lottery placements. It is important to note that transportation will not be provided for students who choose School Choice placements.
