Ocala Updates Trash Collection for Thanksgiving Holiday

The City of Ocala has announced updates regarding sanitation and collection services due to the Thanksgiving holiday. City business offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29.
There will be no residential collection for sanitation, yard waste, or recycling on Thanksgiving Day, November 28. Regularly scheduled residential sanitation collection for that day will be delayed by one day and will now occur on Friday, November 29. Additionally, Waste Pro's recycling collection for Ocala residents, typically scheduled for Thursday, will also take place on Friday, November 29.
