Free Helmets and Bike Lights Giveaway Event

The Ocala Marion Transportation Planning Organization is hosting a Helmet Fitting and Giveaway event on Monday, October 28. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place, located at 1821 NW 21st Ave.

This event is part of Mobility Week and is organized in collaboration with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the City of Ocala. Participants will have the opportunity to receive free helmet fittings, as well as free helmets available in both adult and youth sizes, and bike lights.

The event is open to all ages and is free of charge. The initiative aligns with the mission of the City of Ocala, Marion County, and the Ocala Marion TPO to promote safe and accessible transit services for residents and visitors.
