**Ocala Man Arrested for Armed Jewelry Heist**

Danny Anzardo, 45, has been arrested following an armed robbery that took place at Ocala Jewelers in the Paddock Mall on October 29. The incident occurred around 6:25 p.m., but Anzardo entered the store earlier at approximately 5:50 p.m. During the robbery, he stole several pieces of jewelry valued at $13,100, which included gold chains and a diamond ring set. Reports indicate that Anzardo implied he was armed and threatened a store employee before fleeing the scene.

The Ocala Police Department responded swiftly and identified Anzardo as the suspect. On October 30, officers located him at his workplace and took him into custody. A subsequent search of his vehicle led to the recovery of some of the stolen jewelry.

Anzardo is now in custody at the Marion County Jail facing multiple charges, which include robbery with a firearm, grand theft, and dealing in stolen property.

The Ocala Police Department expressed gratitude to the officers and Detective Grosso for their work on the case.
