Fort King Closes Early for Phantoms Event

Fort King National Historic Landmark will be closing early on Saturday, October 19, at 3 p.m. This early closure is in preparation for the upcoming Phantoms in the Fort event. Regular hours will resume on Sunday, October 20.

The Phantoms in the Fort event will take place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the landmark, located at 3925 E Fort King St. This family-friendly event is free of charge and open to all ages.

The schedule for the evening includes:

- **5 to 7 p.m.**: Family Fun at the Fort

- **7 to 9 p.m.**: Stories Under the Stars

- **9 to 10 p.m.**: Legends Trail

Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets. Concessions will be available for purchase during the event.
